Can anyone get xbmc to read the temperature of AMD Phenom II? I can't get it to work. LM-Sensors can't find it, I had to add it manually, and the Sensors-Applet in GNOME Finds it fine. I had to add K8 Sensors.
Any Ideas?

1. what os are you using?
2. what mean "lmsenors cant find it ... you had to add it manually"? does it work now or not?
3. what exactly do you want now?
edit: just to answer your question in the first line: yes.

i still don't know what you mean with add to sensor file. on my ubuntu 10.10 it worked out of the box.
anyway, to get xbmc to how it at the following to advancedsettings.xml:
<cputempcommand>sensors|sed -ne "s/temp1: \+[-+]\([0-9]\+\).*/\1 C/p"</cputempcommand>
you know what advancedsettings.xml is?

<cputempcommand>sensors|sed -ne "s/Core 1: \+[-+]\([0-9]\+\).*/\1 C/p"</cputempcommand> that was mine.
I added yours and it worked. Thanks so much!

For the record I had to add "powernow k8" to /etc/modules
