I am just discovering how to use XBMC scripts that run each time XBMC is started.

I would now like to launch an application from my /home/.. directory from this script.

Can anyone point me to a "how to" page on invoking external applications from an XBMC script.

I have already completed the XBMC script tutorial but it does not cover this topic
