[WINDOWS] Horizontal flicker on video playback
#1
Had this issue some time ago and enabling vsync sorted it. All fine until recently when it re-appeared - vsync was still always enabled. Upgraded to latest version but it's still there. Video doesn't quite look as though the screen is updating at the same time - so a small horizontal bar looks laggy for a split second.

Only other thing I can think of is that ATI drivers have been updated to 10.12. Ideally I'd like to run at 1920x1080 but for some reason it reverts to 1920x720 at 60Hz. Can live with this and not sure it's causing the issues as XBMC looks great otherwise.

Fairly sure I've exhausted all video settings within XBMC.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

You look at your vsync options in the ATI CCC?
Main - Intel E6750 C2D (2.66ghz)/Geforce 240
Bedroom - Intel E3300 C2D (2.5ghz)/Geforce 210
Guest Bedroom - Acer Revo 1600/ION LE
Test Desktop - Intel Q9300 C2Q (2.5ghz)/Geforce 9600 GSO

Not seen anything in there. Will have a closer look. To be honest I am not getting on with the CCC at all.
