Hey Guys,
after several days of trying to get my remote working in XBMC, I decided to post here.
I have set up my linux (ubuntu server 10.10 x64) system and got everything running (xbmc, hdmi, audio, etc) but I simply won´t get my remote running.
The remote I use is this one:
Terratec USB Remote
By searching several threads I tried now two different approaches.
1. Using the Linux event configuration for lirc
2. Using the samsung usb config (seems to be the chip used in this remote) for lirc
The main problem already starts when trying to grap any input by the 'irw' command. Nothing is coming in ...
Anyone any ideas??
