Music amd Movie Library is gone after installing 10.0
#1
I had been using a version of XBMC from Feb 2010 (Rev27976-dx) and finally got around to installing 10.0 today. It seems to have lost many of my settings (file paths and library mainly).

Is this normal? Is the idea that we need to export the library in the old version amd then bring it in fresh in the new one? Or did I miss a crucial step somewhere that will retain my old library so I don't lose things like watched status, resume from positions, music playcounts, etc.?

If you're using portable mode then yes, the directory has changed.

Yeah, a note would be nice about the location. It use to just be stored under XBMC\userdata. I had to do a little poking around in the directory and just got lucky that I stumbled on the new portable_data directory and noticed a userdata folder in that.
