Yet another HDMI sound issue (Revo3700)

I have been pulling my hair out trying to get the soudn to work on my new Revo 3700 running openELEC.

There is loads of stuff on it when I do a search but for the life of me i cant work it out.

In my Configfiles folder I have my asound.conf as follows:

I have my Revo connected to my TV only through HDMI. I also have the audio settings set to HDMI for all three audio settings in the XBMC user interface.

When i go to play a movie it comes up with "Failed to initialize audio device"
