Hi Guys

Is there someone with a nexus s using xbmc remote for android?
Tried it on my nexus and also with avd (android virtual device) and it doesn't work on both devices:

I/ImportUtilities( 884): Resizing to: (157x232) in order to fit into (157x232)
I/ImportUtilities( 884): Resizing to: (75x110) in order to fit into (75x110)
W/AbstractManager( 884): *** ignoring onFinish, controller is null.
I/org.xbmc.android.remote.business.InfoManager( 884): *** getSystemInfo: 40248ms
D/Command ( 884): Running command counter: 1

Do you have the same problem?

No, but I do have some problems connecting to my htpc's on my nexus S. Dunno if that is because I run mySQL-setup or the android client.
Sometimes it works and but usally it doesn't and when it does it takes a superlong time.

it works here too, but it is so slow, that I have to wait at least 30 seconds when choosing an artist, album, song.
so it looks like i'm not the only one with this behaviour.

Okay, it's not a problem of xbmc remote.
After I realised, that the remote is working fine over 3g, I started to capture the network packages.
Although i've entered the ip-address in the host-configuration of xbmc remote, the nexus s tried to lookup the ip address:
2 2.327666 192.168.1.16 192.168.1.1 DNS Standard query PTR 48.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa

192.168.1.1: DNS/Default-Gateway
192.168.1.16 Android-Phone
192.168.1.48 XBMC


workaround: i've rooted the phone, an added an entry to /system/etc/hosts
