I got a new cable modem installed which should have absolutely nothing to do with xbmc. But now I'm able to connect to XBMC using my android app, but when I try to use it as a remote control, none of the buttons work. Any ideas as to what's going on?

Edit: I did upgrade to the latest version of kaspersky anti-virus around the time when this problem happened, but it's disabled. I'm also able to connect to the web interface using my browser. And I'm running Dharma.

It appears as though upgrading my anti-virus had the side-effect of changing my firewall settings. I changed some rules to allow all types of traffic from xbmc.exe and it works now.
