I have all my media on a remote server on my network, I had all my media streaming find and dandy and one day it just stopped I was getting the error saying it can no longer find my media, weird... so I went out of library mode and when I try and watch something it brings up a login box, I then tried to login to my sharing account but it just returns to the login box, I even tried an administrator account but still returns to the login box.
I then restarted both machines still have the same issue, I try to login to my media server through the same mac's connect to server function and works fine, video playback works fine but I still get the same issue in XBMC. I then tried in my sharing center to turn off password protected sharing but I still get the same issue!?
The only thing I've changed is Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level from undefined to "Send LM&NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated" but I tried to change that back to undefined with no results.
That's my troubleshooting process if anyone can help me with this I'd be extremely grateful.
Edit: I'm at school right now, I'll post a debug log when I get home. Also, I'm running OSX 10.6.6
