How do I upload a custom compiled XBMC to the atv2 via an Xcode compile on a minimac - I am new to Mac and have only bought it to provide xbmc via atv (multiple) and am generally more comfortable with linux and windows. So apologise for a newbie type question, but a simple search yielded no results.

The next release would be a 10.0-10 and some other things have to fall into place before this can happen.

Did you try the latest nightly? It supports touch navigation - at least with list scrolling...

(scrolling file list, and bigger button for play/pause/next/prev, seek)
hopefully, someday
Touch scroll was just added to the nightlies and bigger buttons is a skin issue. There are some touch skins already out there and an "official" touch screen skin is being made by Jezz (head skin jedi master).

I'm running the 10.0-9 official build. It works quite well for my purposes, but slideshow behaves rather weirdly.
I often use slideshow of photos and videos together. ( Photos and short videos of my baby boy. It doesn't make sense to separate the photos vs. the videos in this case )
When I start a slideshow, photos are displayed okay, but videos don't do well. Sometimes I see only "Working" sign on a back-screen and then onto the next picture.
Or I get only audio, while the screen just moves on to the next picture. If I press 'menu' at this point to cancel slideshow, then I can actually get back the video playback, although it is covered by the file list.
It seems that XBMC moves on to the next picture(or video) after waiting just a few seconds, rather than waiting until the current video finishes.
In a previous build I tried( 5/18 nightly ), XBMC would properly wait until a video finishes before moving onto the next.

Where is the addons.db file or equivalent in the .9 build? find | grep addons doesn't find it. I believe Ii need to delete this to get tvdb to stop being "broken".
