Hi
I have just upgraded my home server to Ubuntu 10.10 x64 server edition and followed this guide to try and install as a minimal system with XBMC auto starting. The intention is that the server is connected to my TV by a hdmi cable and should just boot into XBMC.
For some reason, XBMC does not autostart and I get this:
over and over in my /var/log/auth.log file.
I previoulsy had Ubuntu 9.04 running and the same setup seemed to work ok.
The only other thing installed on the system is a SAMBA server so there should not be anything conflicting.
I assume the upgrade from 9.04 to 10.10 has changed the way things auto start somehow but I have no idea how to fix it.
