Audio Failed to Initialize?
#1
Yesterday I finished up some rips of DVDs and TV Shows that I have. I transferred them to my server but now when i play them i get an alert on each one saying that the audio "failed to initialize".

However the audio plays fine when i open them with windows media player. Is there a setting that im missing in XBMC that can correct this? I would hate to re-rip all of these movies and tv shows..

NOTE - I am using DVDFab and any movies that i have from torrents play fine.

THANKS!!!

I have issues with this sometimes, I don't know what exactly causes it, but usually pausing/unpausing will fix the issue. I changed the default audio device from default to the specific device I was using, and that seems to have helped some, though it still happens from time to time when I skip chapters quickly or stop one file and start another quickly. I have been trying to narrow down exactly what causes it, still no luck.

Using early 2009 Mac Mini with 3.5mm to optical output to AVR.
