Audio placeholders in Movie library
#1
For movies that I want to use the actual bluray disc to watch, under the previous version of XBMC live I was using a small audio WAV file as a placeholder in my library that when clicked on played audio saying "please insert the blu ray disc". This way I could show the item in my movie library along with my other movies and show cover art, ect. To get the audio to be scraped and show up in the library, I renamed the extension on the wav to avi and it worked great.

The problem is under the latest version of xbmc live those files no longer play. I click the cover art and I see in the lower left of the screen the time clock plays the 3 second file but no audio is heard. Anyone have any ideas on how to get these to play or any other suggestions? thanks.

For anyone interested, I used AT&T Labs text-to-speech site (google: text to speech) to output the wav file.
