What am i doing wrong here?

Hi
I got my new ASRock 3d Vision plugged n and wired up,
i've put xbmc live onto a usb but nothings happening, i've searched for any secret tricks i haven't already read about, seems xbmc live should self install on a barebone unit, but it's not happening here right now, any pointers?
The rock has come with an install cd too, i've tried putting that in but does nothing either, do i need to hook up and keyboard?
All the remote seems to do at the moment is turn my xbox360 on !
right now on screen i have
"Reboot and select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_ "

well...one way to find out would be to actually google it.

If you look at the screen while booting it will tell you what to do. Normally press F6 or del or something like then. Then you look for boot sequence.

Get your model info and go the the asrock website and see if there is a bios update? I would think usb is almost standard anymore for bios features.

What make and version is your bios?

You can boot USB, press F8 and you can select 'USB device'.
