From the root in XBMC....where do I put repo zip files so can add them from the ui.....same for video add on files.....where do I put them! Wish it was easy like with my iPad......with my atv2 I have to ssh..........thanks again......

Add a path in the filemanager (right off settings) to wherever you want (smb share etc.)
Install from zip will then have that path in it as well I think? Try it.

I finally fount the location of the accessible folders in XBMC. Private/var/mobile/applications. I put the zip files in this folder and then from install fron zip option was able to find them via the XBMC ui
I did add a file path in the file manager like you said but could not find in when I ssh into the apple tv.......thanks for the help......

If you've added it in the filemanager then that path should be available in the GUI when you install from zip. No ssh required.
