Hmm, the only thing I see, if I am reading it right that seems out of place is 5.0G ./mobile/Library/Caches/AppleTV/Video/LocalAndRental and also the cache folder in the same directory. Does this mean that the player is caching videos I stream on the apple tv? Is there a way to clear cache safely? Thanks again for helping me out I appreciate it.

EDIT: That's the answer to what's taking up all the space. Note xbmc does not touch this location.

Sorry, probably shouldnt have added so long of text, I apologize. I hadn't heard of pastebin, but I will use it from now on, thanks! Can I access that directory and delete whats in there then?

LocalAndRental is what has been viewed/rented from itunes. Perhaps you should use frontrow to clear it out.

Right in the actual apple tv? Well that sounds good, thanks. I will post to see if the install works once I clear the cache.

Well I couldn't find anywhere in front row to clear it, so I entered through the ssh client Rubber Duck and manually deleted the stored video files. When I check the data amounts as before it was down to 1.5 gig. Redid the install and everything ran smooth. Thanks very much everyone.
