Hello dear users from Xbmc!
I have the following structure:
Xbmc running on Windows 7
My router handels a 2 TB USB drive that is shared via Windows Share.
After I had copied all movies locally on the 2 TB drive, I've made the database locally (USB).
Then I exported the database (using the separate method). After that in all the movie folders there were the cover art and fanarts as files.
To test, I then deleted the database again and let it import again... what worked great.
But now I have the USB drive connected to my router and enabled Windows Share.
I have access on Windows and can play all movies.
However, if I want to import the movies into the database, there is a big mess.
I recognized that all the cover arts are missing. Only the fanarts are taken, but not all.
How can it be possible that the database is created correctly when the drive is attached locally , but if I want to mount a network drive, all cover arts are missing, titels mix up and aren't displayed properly ?
Can someone help me?
Sorry for my bad english, but I am Austrian (only speak German quiet good).
