I don't use spotify but after viewing this video on YouTube I did a search through the threads trying to find the Repo...

Thanks. I was aware that this was around but it doesn't seem like a good solution to me. My understanding is that this is not an addon, but a modified version of the whole xbmc. My guess is that you would have to re-install the whole thing with each new version.

Yes, it's just waiting for Theam XBMC to solve the riddle to fix so you can do binary addons. I have tried to get it to get it running with the materials available. but I have a problem and that is that it does not find any spotify libs. though I've installed it.

This user has got a working plugin for Plex going using libspotify. Hopefully the promised tech update on the homepage will be involve a bit of info re: binary plugins
