First post on good looking forum.
I'm running Acer Revo 3160 and all is fine. However my amp does not have HDMI, and I've yet to find anything I'm prepared to ditch it for. At the moment I'm at 1080p MKV DTS and it's ace. I use HDMI to TV and optical to amp from Revo.
However I'm looking to view DTS-MA and Dolby TruHD. I believe it is possible by purchasing certain kinds of bluray players that allow 5/7.1 output via analogue which I can connect to my amp. However I'm definitely interested with files only.
What I am wondering is there a component/soundcard/graphics card that I can fit in a PC/NAS etc (I'm really looking at HP Proliant Microserver) that will allow me to enjoy DTS-MA and Dolby TruHD whilst still utilising my DSP A1?
