IOS update causing issues
#1
Hi,
I was watching my atv2 last and after about 20mins the entire unit restarted.
I then tested this with movies & tv shows that I know work. But every attempt caused the atv2 to restart after approx 20mins. I eventually found after a restart that the unit was attempting to install the latest ios.
As there is no option in the apple menus to disable updates like in the atv1,
I ended up changing the ip address of my router to stop it contacting apple.
After that the unit didn't reboot. Smile
Has anyone else had this problem recently?

Thanx

Jules

I am having issues as well. I restored my ATV2 to reverse some tinkering I had done that seemed to causing crashes. Now jailbreaking with greenpois0n doesn't seem to add the nitoTV menu option.

This could suck. Is there any way for me to restore it with an old version of iOS?
