I have both the binaries and userdata in RAM, if you prune userdata regularly for unwanted zip files it'll take the usage down a fair bit.
Currently my ramdisk size is 1.1gig with usage of around 700meg. I'll probably be taking the size up to 1.5gig and start populating as much fanart as I possibly can.
How big is your userdata folder (less the zip files) ?
