I fixed the overscan issue by adjusting my TV for 1:1 pixel mapping.

Just got to sort out buffering issues on HD movies now.

Don't know the version but they were on the mobo driver CD.

What version should I install?

I also originally enabled DXVA2 but this caused constant stuttering so I disabled it again and the stuttering stopped. I thought DXVA2 was a requirement for hardware acceleration.

PS Keep the DXVA bible close your heart. I've referred to it over the years... It's an excellent read

http://imouto.my/watching-h264-videos-using-dxva/

In there they'll be a link to 'DXVA Checker' install it if you're still experiencing problems and post the output of what it finds.

GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Windoze support - I iz not likin :/

David and Homewrek you think you can help me I am having a slight stuttering issue as well only using DSplayer for playback so that I can bitstream the audio. When I use the default player it works fine? Any ideas I have checked use DXVA2 and still notice a slight stutter / skipping in watching Scott Pilgrim against the world. Please let me know if you have some suggestions I am running a MSI E350IS-E45 AMD Zacate E350. Thanks for your help

i may not be of a help here but i tried the DSplayer too before
and had tons of problems in general even tho my htpc is fairly strong......
not only during playback but while browsing through XBMC's menu too...
went back to the official XBMC release and all went fine again...
DSplayer version is experimental, just bare that in mind,,,
what you can do to BitStream HD-Audio is use
MediaPlayerClassicHomeCinema + FFDShow Tryouts
