libav or ffmpeg?

With all the recent drama, where does the XBMC dev team stand? Are you adopting libav or staying with FFmpeg?

On a related note, it looks like FFmpeg finally got the FFmpeg-mt (multithreaded) branch merged into master, is this something we're going to see re-introduced into XBMC?

We haven't chosen a horse in this race as yet. As far as I can tell currently there is no winner. Sad

Finally! Multithreaded decoding is a must. Are there any plans on updating XBMC internal ffmpeg to support multithreaded decoding?
