Idle timer error
#1
So I have noticed that the idle timeout is not consistent. I do not know if it is XBMC or windows but when I have XBMC set to put the computer to sleep after 30 mins it will, 9 out of 10 times, put it to sleep 3 minutes after the last video ends. Seems to me that the sleep timer is ticking away while the video is playing rather than from the end of playback.

Is there a way to program XBMC to trigger a restart of the power management timer at the end of playback? That way regardless if it is windows or XBMC causing it the timers would reset and would work as expected?

What version of XBMC are you running? I remember a similar symptom back before 10.0.

Hrm, I suppose I am the only one suffering from this issue... Time to dig into the OS Smile

I have my XBMC set to quit after 5 minutes of idle and that is exactly what it does whether I just watched a video or not. I have the OS set to sleep after 30 minutes.
