are all of your linux drivers upto date?
xbmc main audio settings configured correctly?
have you had problems with other plugins such as youtube, iplayer?
at the moment both i and mclog are on a windows build so its pretty much hard to troubleshoot, would you like to send your debug log in here (the part where the audio messes up) or if you cannot locate that, then send across to [email protected]
