To get most from your new Beebox read this thread.

If you want something stable with the new video player for HW decoding HevC then try out the OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-6.0.95-fritsch.img.gz
http://fritsch.fruehberger.net/openelec/v15_2_EGL//old/
It runs very good on my small Beebox
Do you know if these builds have a bug in them that Boblight does not work please?
Thank You
Calisto

Yeah - there was some issues with the .9x versions - sadly no one until now has ever tried to get me some kernel dmesg reports :-) As I force pushed this version away I don't even know anymore what is in there. There won't be a v16 stable version as we did immense of work for v17 already so that I won't even try to pick relevant work to a v16 fritsch semi official build.
Every bug that is found in v17 (not addons, as they need to be adjusted) should be brought to our attention.
Hey,
I want to change my running HTPC setup from AMD to Intel.
After some reading, the ASRock Beebox N3000 seems to be the perfect choice for me.
I want to play 1080p files and LiveTV (interlaced/progressive coming from my tvserver) with best deinterlacing options, so I'll stick with one of fritsch' builds I guess.
HEVC 10 bit and 4K is not interesting at the moment.
I think this should be no problem for the N3000 Beebox?
On the other hand I would love to keep my case because it fits perfectly into my home setup.
Would the ASRock N3150-ITX Board do the job for me?
Yes, it would for the content you want to watch. You can throw it for hevc 10 bit later that year :-)
Edit: For LiveTV
Deinterlace: Auto
Deinterlacing-Method: VAAPI Motion Compensation
Save for all files
Thank you fritsch!
Ordered!
Which one did you order? The beebox or a board?
I ordered an ASRock N3150-ITX Board along with 8gb Kingston Ram to use Dual Channel.
I will also use an existing SSD and my 90W pico PSU in a Silverstone Milo Case.
