hello, how do I enable autoreconnect in case the stream connection is lost?

If you are using matrix ffmpeg reconnect (4 second limit) can be enabled in settings.

That is the only solution currently

There is no way to backport I'm afraid. The architecture of the addon was changed to allow changes like this.
