Kodi Community Forum

Just updated to Kodi 20 on my Android box. When I try to open Kodi I get the error message " Kodi requires access to device media and files to function.
Please allow via the following dialog box or Kodi will exit".   When I click Continue, it says permission denied.  Exiting.
How can I correct this problem.  
I did not have this problem when I had Kodi 18 on my android media box.

Got to Settings > Apps > App Permissions > Files and Media > Kodi > Allow all the time  ( check this box ) . go back to to main menu, Reboot the Media box 
 Make sure you do it in that order.
