I'm currently set Side Menu - Minimize to always to test during the update and the changes is looking good in the side menu.
Then I switched back to library...WOW, I didn't expect that I need to goto at the bottom of my widgets to show the options menu button...

I honestly hope jurial puts it back, looked best at the top i think, also each section i highlight on my homescreen is labeled "home" again, for instead of movies, shows etc, it's been reverted it seems, hopefully he changes it back

You have to make your own shortcut for search located in hubs. Top and bottom fixed icons have been removed.

I'm sorry, I don't understand. Assuming you're talking about the minimised menu, the same set of widgets should be displayed regardless of which icon is focused.
I placed the menu icon below search because pressing up from the spotlight focuses the lower button first (which is menu).
Also, if you don't want the search button to be displayed, you can disable it in skin settings
Skin Settings > Menus > Side Menu > Search

Custom search paths for TMDbHelper don't seem to be working with the new search hub. I'm using the following and none of them return anything:
plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper/?info=search&tmdb_type=person&query=
plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper/?info=search&tmdb_type=collection&query=
plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper/?info=search&tmdb_type=both&query=
plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper/?info=search&tmdb_type=keyword&query=
The skin supplied TMDbHelper search paths don't work either except the TMDb-Movies and Shows ones.
Btw v6.0 is cool! Though I kinda liked the old setup with the search on top left and hamburger icon on bottom left better.

You can press Back or Info on the side menu to open the options menu.

It can be configured in Skin Settings > Menus > Customise Widgets
The action to open the shutdown menu (options menu) is:
ActivateWindow(shutdownmenu)

But can;t find how to access options tray and search in options section
I already enabled widget in "options tray" and "search widgets" and "side menu > search" is enabled.
and my "side menu > minimise" = library
