RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Warner306 - 2015-11-17 I don't think Event Logging is working under System -> Logging. This may be a DSPlayer issue as this feature was not designed to work with DSPlayer. FYI, the only really interesting feature in Jarvis is the new long-press for remote buttons: *Long-press – Jarvis v16 introduced a long-press for select keystrokes. Holding a key for a couple of seconds enables a secondary command. Currently, this is limited to two keystrokes and only appears to be compatible with eHome receivers:
RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - vicmanpergar - 2015-11-17 @Warner306 Thanks, honestly, had no idea RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Cinder - 2015-11-17 (2015-11-17, 23:41)Warner306 Wrote: FYI, the only really interesting feature in Jarvis is the new long-press for remote buttons: Nope, non-linear stretching is also something I'm looking forward to RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Warner306 - 2015-11-17 (2015-11-17, 21:06)gotham_x Wrote:(2015-11-17, 14:58)aracnoz Wrote:(2015-11-17, 09:41)gotham_x Wrote: @aracnoz The safest way to do refresh switching is through Kodi (Video -> Playback -> Adjust display refresh rate). Your video card and madVR should have these features disabled if they are available. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Warner306 - 2015-11-18 I took CinemaVision for a test drive and it failed at one part of the sequence. iTunes trailers would not play and were skipped. Playing trailers based on "Content" in your collection and a "File" work fine. My settings for trailers look like this: Complete Log The same sequence works when played with DVDPlayer. That should be discussed in MadVR thread at doom9 forum. Aracnoz just create settings gui to be easily selectable in Kodi. It took wording from madvr dialog not created new one. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - huhn - 2015-11-18 the wording in madVR is correct the wording in kodi is wrong why should i go in the madVR thread for this? RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - gotham_x - 2015-11-18 @Warner306 In fact, I agree that the switching frequency should be set by the GUI Kodi, it appears that in the previous version Kodi DSPlayer (Video -> Playback -> Adjust display refresh rate) was a setting to 'START / STOP and everything worked perfectly. In madVR where you have to look if these features are disabled? OK. I looked it up and you're right. It's typo. Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - oldpoem - 2015-11-18 (2015-11-18, 00:35)gotham_x Wrote: @Warner306 Either kodi and madvr has their own refresh rate switching procedure. The settings in Kodi GUI control Kodi's own not madvr. In general you want only one enabled not both. So if you enable it through Kodi GUI you are advised to disable madvr anyway. If you want to use madvr one, you have to manually enable in madvr control panel and disable Kodi's through GUI. But from my past experience I have better result with Kodi enabled and madvr disabled. |
