The AsRock Kaby Lake will be my number one choice Kaby Lake, because of the dual HDMI ports, you can also look at the Apollo Lake NUC RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Alan P - 2017-01-13 Why the need for dual HDMI? Would this be the AsRock you are talking about? https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Components-BEEBOX-S-6200U-ASR/dp/B01K4K7C7E/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1484257790&sr=1-2&keywords=beebox-s+7200u I like the Apollo you linked to because it is "fully furnished". Didn't realize that it was fully equipped, very good also this is the Asrock that I am talking about. RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - fmedrano1977 - 2017-01-13 If you have win 7 key, you can install that and upgrade for free. Sent from my HTC 10 RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - fmedrano1977 - 2017-01-13 Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/182412888951 5th i3 Nuc for $230 or best offer. Sent from my HTC 10 RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - hdmkv - 2017-01-13 Make offer... I bought my older i3 NUC from him and he accepted an offer that was I think 20% lower than asking. So, looking hard at that Apollo Lake NUC...but I notice that this particular NUC is not listed on the spreadsheet and that there isn't a single Apollo on the "Recommended" list. Is there anything to worry about there? I only ask because I'm not sure how often that spreadsheet is updated. EDIT: Also, the NUC6CAYS only has a single HDMI (which I'm assuming is 2.0). Will that be an issue with MVC playback? Thanks in advance, N RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - Judoka333 - 2017-01-14 Download link seems to be broken. RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - hdmkv - 2017-01-14 Not at home right now, but will fix within the next 4-6 hours. Update: Done. Sorry, took somewhat longer than expected. See post #1 for updated D/L link to latest (December 22, 2016) build. There is no video. I followed all the instruction in the original post. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I'm using a HTPC with an i5-3570 CPU and Nvidia GTX 660. RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - hdmkv - 2017-01-17 Are you using your integrated Intel graphics card, and not the nVidia card? |
