Do you have marcelveldt's beta repo installed. Duration display relies on skin helper, and I don't see this with the version from the beta repo. Also, this is why it is optional. If its not working correctly for you, then turn it off

thanks for the reply. yea i know the addon can be used for many things, but like i said i use it for its mock library that i can build. i have about 900 dvds that im in the process of backing up and packing up lol

I have marcels repo, i know i can turn off i was just reporting that it doesn't work correctly. As well as what i reported already it also just gives incorrect durations

@komplex - Yeah nothing I can do about it. Like I said, its handled by skin helper so it is whatever skin helper returns. That's why it isn't enabled by default.

I like to say THANKS for this awesome skin!! It's my new daily skin!! This is since Eminence the first skin I do really like..
Just a couple of things..
-I like to see some clearart images in the video OSD
-Progress bar is hard to read when I skip true a movie with the Arrow keys
-The overlay image is to dark in my opinion, in the homescreen, fanart is hard to see.
-It should be nice if the icons on the homescreen where a bit bigger.
-Maybe you can do something nice with the red box in the left upper corner: (something with a nice icon or something like that. It's now empty space.)
-And I really hope you can add both views bellow: (including support for clearart)

Hopefully you'll see this, not sure where else to contact you.
Looking through my collection I have noticed a few Genres that don't have any icons. Perhaps when you get a minute & are next updating the pack you might be able to add them.
They are for Movies:
TV Movie
Film Noir
Neo-Noir
Road Movie
Sports Film
They are for TV Shows:
Mini-Series
Special Interest (This might have a similar icon to Documentaries as it was a TV show on Volcanos & wildlife that enhabit them)

I support mystik's desire for more space being given to the plot. I class myself as a "normal" speed reader and still find the scrolling 3 line view less than ideal.

Make sure you are using the latest version. In the more recent versions, all plot boxes show 4 lines of text, not three. The only place where there is 3 lines is in the info dialog. In the info dialog you can view the whole text by navigating right to the cast list and then pressing up to see the plot fullscreen.
EDIT: Also, in the version I just pushed, you can map a key in your keymap to SetFocus(9601) and it will open up a fullscreen overlay showing the plot.

Hey again Juriel! Thanks for the reply to my post earlier didnt want to quote as there was too much happening.
Just was curious if you ever had a play around with Titan skin (especially using horizontal view) Marcel has used a lot of great little tricks that I think would really enhance Horizon! Including the Logos over landscape as well as poster details view within the widget.
In terms of my other request (codec info media view) would be great to have a choice! Or allow one "cluttered" view for those who like it.

2. Do you mean the text, or where the progress bar is up to? Let me know which it is and I'll try to improve the visibility.
3. I've already posted about this and how it can be customised in this thread.
4. Changing the icon size would mean the entire skin would need to be redesigned as the bar would have to be made wider and that impacts pretty much everything in the skin.
5. Yeah I've thought about adding something there, but haven't come up with anything I like. Though I don't have a problem with it being empty.
6. There are already a number of infolist type views in the skin. I'm thinking about reworking infolist 3 a bit as I'm not entirely happy with it, so it might end up more like this. I'm also working on a double pane list type view similar to the other view you linked.

I'm not sure what the poster details thing is? Maybe a screenshot would be useful. Also I'm open to any suggestions
I'll see if I can work codecs into a view, but no promises.

Hi Jurial, a few things I've detected:
1. If in the Music OSD I press the info button to hide the album art and just see the lyrics, when the current song finishes and the next one starts, the album art is again there, so I have to press info again and again in the following song, which is a bit annoying. The normal behaviour in other skins is to show the album art just a few seconds and the hide it.
2. I have the Random artist widget in the music home screen, and when I click on an artist, the artist image, and none of the other artist on the list are displayed. But if I go to music > artist I have all the artist images there.
3. I have the Random albums widget in the music home screen too, and when I click on an an album, it starts playing. That is ok, but when I stop it, it returns to the home screen with a black bar in the left side that corresponds with the main menu. If I click left, the menu comes back and everything works ok again.
4. Is the Artist Slideshow working in the skin? because when I play an album, it only shows the fanart that I have downloaded in my HD, it doesn't bring remote fanart. This addon works for me in other skins.
Nothing else, thanks for this amazing skin.
Note: ups, forgot to say that I'm using Leia, maybe all this errors doesn't happen in krypton...

1. I'm not doing anything unusual here. Should be the same behaviour as other skins -- shows for a few seconds and then disappears. Can you double check it isn't happening in other skins, as I really can't think of why it would behave differently here.
Also check your advancedsettings file to make sure it isn't set to infinite.

2. Ah you are correct. For some reason Skin Helper or Skin Shortcuts is thinking that it is a video widget and passing through to the video library. To fix it, don't select it from Default Widgets -- instead, go to Music Library > Add-ons > Skin Helper Widgets > Random Artists.
This will make sure it goes through the music library instead.
3. I can't reproduce this one. Might be something going wrong on Leia.
4. Yeah Artist Slideshow is working fine for me. I've been using marcelveldt's spotify plugin for music and I'm definitely getting artwork that I don't have locally because it works with Spotify Song Radio whilst playing songs I've never listened to before.

Just a heads-up for everyone. I've reworked InfoList3 quite substantially, I'm much happier with how it is now, feels like it fits in a lot better and is much more useful.

just letting you know that the audio offset when playing doesn't appear to have any +/- numbers/text when moving the dial. It does in fuse neue, just not in horizon
