btw, saw you had a go with marduk's wide netflix version (season & episodes), did it worked for u consistently?

UNRELATED NOTE: JUST NOTICED NEXT UP SERVICE IS CONSIDERED BROKEN. NEW ADDON UP-NEXT WORKS BUT IS NOT INTEGRATED TO SKIN (lacks the looks I created for the former) SO WILL CHECK THAT OUT TOO SOON ENOUGH. 

I have never done anything with logs before and never had any desire to so not really sure what to do but I guess my issue won't be fixed unless I do so I will try to figure it out any guidance would be appreciated.

So as I've mentioned before, it's not skin-related but I will try to dig deeper and see if I can trace & fix the problem.

Replaced the old file with the new one still getting skin helper errors.

If you are referring to using Marduk's version I liked the look of it with all the seasons grouped together like Netflix however in the end I reverted back to your version because it wasn't possible to use the context menu for episodes. I wasn't able to mark episodes watched so basically made his view useless to me. Ideally it would be great if the seasons were set up like Like Netflix and MardukL version but if that was the only way you could get it to where you could access the context menu in episodes it's a good compromise.

Many many thanks, this actually helped with mini tv guide on osd, but it doesn't resolve PVR options menu entry issue. Tried with a complete brand new profile from scratch but without luck.

You're right about globalsearch, since if plugin itself is launched from program addons then it works (but only with local files, it doesn't seems able to launch remote added library entires).

It's still something I want to achieve but not sure if it's even possible without being bug-prone in current kodi structure. But I now sure that if it is it will HAVE to be on EPISODE LEVEL and not SEASON LEVEL. Then again, that will only work if you're coming through the widgets and not from library itself since kodi's native command to send you to season before episodes is out of the skinner's hands...

I try to set everything up to work as close to Netflix as possible so I rarely play anything from the library. I always use the widgets with the exception of an adult add-on that shall remain unnamed. I made a menu shortcut to it and that is one place I used to get the skin helper widget errors. Plays fine from the wide Netflix view with the default select action set to show info now. I have no real skinning skills so don't know if it is possible to set up one view for the widgets and another for the library and other sources such as add-ons. Just brainstorming with you.

On a side note since you seem to have a lil free time and are currently working on the skin the focus remaining fixed to the top row is still my number one feature request. I know you tried to figure this out multiple times and you said Kodi doesn't support a fixed list within a fixed list. The kodiflix skin implemented it somehow a hack of sorts maybe. mardukL has that skin in his repo if you get bored and want to look into how schism accomplished it.
