Thank you, I did remove xbmc-current to stop the loop.
The problem is solved. Since I used ftp the file rights were incorrect. After I changed the file rights it all works like a charm.

But now it stopped working unfortunately. The Raspberry Pi freezes, and all I see is the red R.
If I remove .xbmc-current and reboot, it comes alive again. However without SVT play of course. Well well, it was nice while it lasted.

Try reinstalling and turn of automatic updates and see if it's stable.
I haven't tried for a cpl of days but it has been stable.

I'd just like to note that svt play now works like a charm again after updating to latest monthly released yesterday. It's still marked as broken in the repository though, I don't know if that's a setting that can be changed just for xbmc13 (since I guess it still doesnt work in 12)?

Hej! Har följt detta ämne under en tid och när jag läste de två hoppingivande inläggen ovan så gav jag XBMC en chans till. Mitt syfte har varit att få igång live TV från SVT Play på Raspberry Pi.
Jag testade just att uppdatera OpenELEC (som jag upplever ha ett mer responsivt gränssnitt än t.ex. Raspbmc) till ver. 3.2.2, hämta hem ZIP-filen till Pi:n (för den som gillar klipp-och-klistra: curl -LOk https://github.com/nilzen/xbmc-svtplay/archive/frodo.zip) som nilzen tillhandahåller på github (tackar ödmjukast för detta!) och manuellt installera tillägget (eftersom det är flaggat trasigt) i XBMC-GUI:t. Det fungerade till viss del, så OpenELEC tycks ha kompilerat in SSL-stödet (hittade inget changelog för detta dock, men jag letade inte så länge). Det som inte fungerade var att exempelvis SVT24 bara fick ljud. Jag testade då att klicka i "Använd inte avc1.77.30 videoströmmar", och nu tycks allt faktiskt fungera för mig!
Inte blir bilden bra precis, men delvis tror jag det beror på att jag har usel bandbredd. (8 km luftledning från televerket långt ut i skogen, nedtyngd av ugglor och rotvältor, och sedan en gammal trött ADSL på denna. Det hjälper inte till precis.)

ffmpeg with https is now merged into most variants of XBMC v 13.

But only until it is restarted unfortunately. It gets stuck on boot at the red R every time and stays there.
It can be fixed by removing the .xbmc-current and after the original xbmc boot I choose the nightly again and reboot. Does anyone have the same issue?
So it appears to manage the first boot after I choose the nightly, but not any boot after that...

Latest version on Github should fix the crash but not the problem. The problem is that no stream is found which might be because you have set a manual bandwidth and no stream is found for that bandwidth. Will look into that scenario next week.
In the future, please post any issues/bugs on Github!
Click on "Download zip" and then use the "install from zip" alternative in XBMC. Remove the previous version first.
