(nothing new here!!) Hi, i got a few problems; i got a network drive for music videos, with a subfolder for oldies and one with charts (with subfolders for years).. in your newest version (released today) it ignores the subfolders, two versions ahead it worked (really!)? It creates the Oldies-Channel and shows the vids in the epg but if you change to it, it tries to load a few seconds, but then it skips back to channel 1. The Charts-Channel isnt created at all. if it helps: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/813105/xbmc.log i also experimented with a stream, but it doesnt load: <setting id="Channel_19_type" value="9" /> <setting id="Channel_19_1" value="5400" /> <setting id="Channel_19_2" value="rtmp://flash.cdn.deluxemusic.tv/deluxemusic.tv-live/web_850.stream" /> <setting id="Channel_19_3" value="DeluxeMusic" /> <setting id="Channel_19_rulecount" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_19_changed" value="False" /> <setting id="Channel_19_time" value="0" /> <setting id="Channel_19_rule_1_id" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_19_rule_1_opt_1" value="DeluxeMusic" /> Are there some settings incorrect? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - spyder - 2014-04-06 So no update on the bug you found in my log... I tried .3.7 and got the same result(screen freeze/force close). Is there anything I can enable/disable to get it work until this gets fixed? EDIT: Got a working setup, put all settings at default, disabled pvr/hdhomerun and donor features RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - kaiseruk - 2014-04-06 @Lunatixz, i'm going to pm you a log, hope you dont mind! I'm using the live tv channel 8 type (see below). The channel are picked up ok but sometimes they show up minimized or minimize when changing a channel. If you could at log it would be appreciated. The channels open up full screen outside of pseudotv and there isnt an option selected to open channels in background. In the log i am going to send you, channel 102 open minimized/in background when i went to it. <setting id="Channel_101_type" value="8" /> <setting id="Channel_101_1" value="BBC One" /> <setting id="Channel_101_2" value="pvr://channels/tv/All TV channels/363.pvr" /> <setting id="Channel_101_3" value="xmltv" /> <setting id="Channel_101_rulecount" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_101_changed" value="False" /> <setting id="Channel_101_time" value="431" /> <setting id="Channel_101_rule_1_id" value="1" /> <setting id="Channel_101_rule_1_opt_1" value="BBC One" /> RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2014-04-06 (2014-04-06, 10:27)Redkiller223 Wrote:(2014-04-06, 04:59)Lunatixz Wrote: ::Update:: Dumb questions that I have to ask, you have Discovery Networks plugin installed? What OS and XBMC build are you running? I assume you've had no luck with the USTVnow autotune? Your hanging at the same spot ustvnow autotune hangs out. I don't understand whats different between my two test machines and yours. Why does my xbmc return a json request from xbmc and yours doesn't?? Do you have webserver enabled? (Shouldn't matter, but then again who knows) Do you have upnp control on? Let me know... (nothing new here!!) two versions ago was using different code, Gotham added security restrictions to json requests. New code doesn't use json to build "Directory" chtypes anymore. If enough users want subfolders to be included, I'll add it... Yeah, I've experienced this a few times... happens so randomly I forget to save the log. it's easily fixed by using the "aspect" key if you have one mapped. If you have a log when it happens send it please. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - kaiseruk - 2014-04-06 sent you two pm's, second one has a more extensive log where channels 101 and 102 opened minimized nearly every single time. Also, i posted before about how pressing stop completely exits pseudotv for me without a prompt. When pressing stop on 101 and 102 (only type 8 channels i have added so far), pseudotv goes back to home menu without existing the script and then after 5/10 seconds it reopens on the next channel. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - zensbert - 2014-04-06 Ok, i thougt switch 4 is an optional description.. I don't know how many other users request the subfolders, but i can't use it without Im using the old version until / if there will be a fix.. Anyway, many thanks for keeping up the good work! (2014-04-06, 10:10)Lunatixz Wrote: @Demivoin you don't need any xmltv info with ustvnow. PTVL supplies it. Without a log I can't tell you why it doesn't work. Google xbmc log level. Learn how to enable debugging and send me a log. Also are you using my ustvnow pluging? And have you tried ustvnow autotuning? ok here is my log: http://pastebin.com/pgTzYdrG It seems that it's looking for a ustvnow.xml file in the location I specified. But i never made one? By the way, this is with a manual channel configuration, because eventually I will add a bunch of custom channels that I have set up previously. Also, there is no setting for a "ustvnow autotune". The closest autotune setting I could find was a "Find PVR backend". When I run that it simply never works, it just erases my settings2.xml then says: "no channels configured would you like PseudoTV Live to Auto Tune LiveTV PRV Backend channels the next time it loads?" Even if I click yes to that prompt it just repeats the same prompt every time I run PseudoTV live. Here is the log from that run: http://pastebin.com/MUyMtwTj Also, yes I do have the USTVnow plugin (the custom one linked in the 1st post) and It works perfectly, I can watch the free channels through it no problem, just not on pseudotv. I'm having some issues with the amber skin that make the plugin unusable which is a shame because it's a really snappy skin! Once you open the guide and close it the keyboard controls no longer affect pseudotv and instead act as if it's a normal video open. This problem still exists for me using Amber skin only. Once EPG is opened then closed, it can't be opened anymore and Pseudo loses all functionality. Channel acts like you're playing it from your library at that point, it can't be changed and takes on normal XBMC seek functions. I'm using the latest version from git and cleared cache folder. Log File RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - bry - 2014-04-06 Luna - latest version 37 is working fine for me with the donor features. thanks for the fix RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Redkiller223 - 2014-04-06 (2014-04-06, 17:36)Lunatixz Wrote: Dumb questions that I have to ask, you have Discovery Networks plugin installed? Same results with ustvnow RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Rastan - 2014-04-06 (2014-04-06, 00:02)Lunatixz Wrote: I just triple checked every possible type of channel interleaving and they all work!! below are a few problems that could be causing issues. Going from your suggestions from my findings I have found that if you create a directory based channel, it will only work if the folder is at root level AND has no subfolders inside it, else the channel will be skipped. I have spent the whole day trying to get my interleaved adverts, trailers and bumpers to work on with the latest PTVL on my channels, but still havent got it to work so far. This is the advanced channel rules I have set on all my movie channels 1. Force Random Mode 2. Reset every 4 days 3. Rename Channel 4. Interleave Channel 201 <---- Hidden directory based channel pointing to Advert folder (Now has no subfolders inside and moved to root of drive) 5. Interleave Channel 202 <---- Hidden directory based channel pointing to Channel name Bumper folder (Now has no subfolders inside and moved to root of drive) 6. Interleave Channel 203 <---- Hidden directory based channel pointing to Trailers folder (Now has no subfolders inside and moved to root of drive) 7. Schedule Channel 410 <---- Hidden Playlist based channel that plays movie genre rule with adult MPAA ratings after 7pm It gets to rule 3 and skips the rest for every channel and the same for my tv show channels. Another solution would be just to use PTVL's built in BCT's but as of now it is just a blanket rule that applies to every channel. Which does not suit me. Would be great if you could give it some extra rules for excluding channels. I'm nearly out of ideas here and am going to have to put the file/folders back as they were and revert back to the older version of PTVL that worked, which is a shame as there are a lot of improvents in speed and other things. I don't know how many other users request the subfolders, but i can't use it without I vote for bringing subfolder support back too. I have a lot of directory based channels and I would rather not have all the PTVL related folders littering my partitions at root level when they can all be neatly inside one folder.
