Hi and thanks you for all your work.

Since the last update a Big problem appears. All my widget have disappear and i can't navigate with m'y remonte on my screen. Kodi is literally stuck on the home page with nothing. If i want to quit i need to force to quit or delete data to reinstall a fresh version and reupload a backup but when the update comes, the problem appears again. By the way i have a message who the skin shortcut can't update.

Any Idea for recover my widget and my remote ?

RE: Arctic Fuse - 12Arthor - 2023-10-20

I can't because when i have the problem i can't navigate in th extension to install the log extension my kodi is stuck. So i have investigated. I think it's skin shortcut the problem maybe with you're big update 0.3.1 so I decided to reinstall Arctic Fuse from scratch, and now when a create fresh widget it works. I will test it on my second device at home but i think it's the solution.

Thank you for all your work and your reactivity

RE: Arctic Fuse - taiseer999 - 2023-10-20

Latest release is beautiful
I am speechless looking at the new wizard and the different home layouts , wow

PS
Had to relink some widgets as they came broken out of the box.

RE: Arctic Fuse - Qirat77 - 2023-10-20

Checked this skin out soon after release and although I thought it was nice, I couldn't see myself using it over AH2. Revisited it a couple of days ago and it has sucked me right in - congrats on raising the bar once again jurialmunkey!

Obviously it's very early days, but I notice tv channel logos on the home screen's 'last played' widget, and on the channel epg (pressing enter, then down while watching live tv) scale differently to logos that appear in the top left of the screen when pressing up/down, which have a border. I prefer the look of the 'last played' widget as icons can fully fill the landscape view (looks particularly nice displaying a logo on an opaque/ coloured background). Just wanted to check if parity is planned between these landscape views, and if so, which scaling method will be used? Thanks.

Apple TV, chose Classic from the Setup Wizard, now stuck on the Home Screen, is there any way of getting back to the left menu items?

I'm guessing skinshortcuts either didn't build and/or you deleted the widgets for the main menu - if there's no widgets to focus in classic mode, then focus will get stuck.

Not familiar with what the AppleTV remote button mapping is, but Kodi's default keymap maps long press back to shutdownmenu (the side options panel) - So if it's mapped the same way, you should be able to get back to settings with long-press back.

Also "m" on keyboard will focus menu and "s" will open shutdownmenu -- but I expect there isn't a way to attach a keyboard on AppleTV.
A mouse can also be used.

Failing that, you could delete the skin's settings folder with Kodi closed and that will force the Wizard to relaunch next start. This folder:
/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/skin.arctic.fuse

Are you talking about info shown on the side when switching channels directly using the remote? If so - yeah that's not how it's meant to be. It's meant to match the widget style -- I'll fix that up.

I must've missed it was still the old style because I'm so used to long-pressing OK to bring up the channel switcher at the bottom and never switch channels any other way.

It's focusing on the Home widgets but pressing back (short or long) is closing Kodi so there's no way to get back to the side menu, this is either with the standard tv remote or the Apple TV remote

It's the same behaviour in the Categories style but the workaround is to go up and left to get back to the menu

RE: Arctic Fuse - CouchGuy - 2023-10-21

I only have one widget set for my movie and TV show hub before. But the changes on the recent updates, you need to set widget on each category. So I decided to don't add any widgets and use only the submenu widget.
But is this normal? When you first open the hub, the submenu widget doesn't load automatically untill you move left and right or move down to the submenu.

Dear Jurialmunkey : the Last updated to version 0.3.7 is stunning.
Colour on ratings icons, a setup wizard, the skin works as a charm...
You never cease to innovate and impress. Eager to see what you'll deliver in future updates.
If you Will ever need a personagem to be a tester, you Can rely on me.
Thanks for all your amazing work. Rui, from. PORTUGAL

RE: Arctic Fuse - CouchGuy - 2023-10-21

Now I understand why you didn't do the colored ratings before... I'm wishing for this from start. I tried it for a minute then switched back to white icons.

Thanks - yeah, that’s the one. Absolutely love the changes you’ve just made to the channel switcher. Looks really slick, and now allows the full programme description to be displayed. Awesome.

RE: Arctic Fuse - BriceysCousin - 2023-10-21

Just wondering, is `Show "More" items on limited widgets` not working?

I'm using the Categories layout style, but I'm not seeing the "More" button on any limited widgets

thanks

Yeah it turned out even better than I was expecting - really happy with how that turned out! Wasn't sure initially if changing the position was going to work but it is much better - easier to read at a glance and doesn't encroach as much on the screen.
