RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - fmedrano1977 - 2017-02-10 I'm assuming the new released Intel NUCs will not work as they only come with one HDMI 2.0 connection. Sent from my HTC 10 RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - bdreams - 2017-02-10 Still have display port does audio and video atleast it work on my current nuc RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - fmedrano1977 - 2017-02-10 (2017-02-10, 18:15)bdreams Wrote: Still have display port does audio and video atleast it work on my current nucHow are you getting display port to TV? And 3D works on it? Sent from my HTC 10 RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - bdreams - 2017-02-10 I bought a display port to hdmi cable which is connected to my amp RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - movie78 - 2017-02-10 (2017-02-10, 19:07)bdreams Wrote: I bought a display port to hdmi cable which is connected to my amp What HW are you using? Sent from my HTC 10 RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - bdreams - 2017-02-10 I don't have the new nucs yet still waiting to see how things progress, I still have my d54250wyk - I5-4250u which works fine. Just google display port to hdmi , I bought it from amazon sometime back. RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - brazen1 - 2017-02-10 Nvidia is working with this build again using R2 Intel Media SDK. Using old Intel Xeon processor (NO integrated graphics processor such as i3, i5, i7) Only Nvidia card is in HTPC. Complete 3D iso. Windows 10 Winver 1607. All hardware is 4k using HDMI 2.0a with single cable to AVR and single cable to display. Evidently HDMI 1.4 is NOT a requirement nor is display port to HDMI. No more incorrect strange TAB default decoding taking place. Pressing 'O' during playback reveals msdk-mvc (SW) is being sent to panel. Pressing 'M', then Stereoscopic 3D Mode, and then Change Mode (blck_lr) during playback reveals Hardware Based is selected and highlighted in green. Display reports Hardware Based momentarily after 3D MVC Frame Packed switches automatically. All environments must be set manually to 1080p from native 2160p. Could probably be done with external script(s). Would be great if this was automated when a 3D title is selected within the build code for 4k users. Apologies* RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - TheShoe - 2017-02-11 @afedchin - curious: would it be possible to make a separate external player out of your mvc build that could either be spawned as an external player from kodi or could be a plugin that could be downloaded separately by users? thinking there could be an easier way to provide the capability alongside the kodi mainstream that could simplify future support. essentially a componentization of just the player/pieces that support the decoding and playback RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - afedchin - 2017-02-11 you can use PowerDVD as external player. RE: Kodi Media Player Options with MVC/frame-packed 3D & HD Audio - z-dima - 2017-02-13 Intel NUC D54250 - Kodi crashes on start playing 1080p 3D iso files. Is it possible to fix somehow? I tried several last MVC builds: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=265299 Several month old builds playing iso files without crashes. Thanks in advance.
