It's not by design, it's from being lazyHowever it is a nice "bug" and will leave it as is. You do know someone will complain about it though.
It is definitely a feature - I support it 300%
I don't see why anyone should complain. If they want to leave the items on the Favourites list too, they are free to do so. I can maybe see a point about deleting items, however these items that have been placed on a SubMenu or AddOn list are thereafter effectively permanent Menu items, so they don't normally need modifying regularly.
Far better to have the ability to retain a proper, clean, and tidy Favourites list, where new items added (which always add to the bottom of the list, ie: after all the permanent junk if it's there) can instead be prioritised and automatically appear in the Home Screen Favourites Widget.
This is all somewhat defeated when the Favourites list is populated (cluttered?) by a whole lot of permanent (junk) items that are only there to provide menu functionality (there only needs to be 4 of these to make the Widget useless without scrolling), and are not a 'true' Favourite item (eg: a TV series you currently watching and want fast access to, but will be deleted from Favourites when it's all 'watched')
So, for once, a 'good' bug

Okay will add option to add prefix near the country choice. Suggested idea - if you add prefix UK: Mod will then look for UK: U, PG, 12A, 12, 15, R18, 18
I've also seen a prefix of "Rating" What may be an issue is the character between prefix and rating, sometimes a : other time a space. would be interesting to hear what other users can find in their .nfo files eg "<mpaa>Rated 12A</mpaa>"

the way i do it is to use a repo called "hybrid development repo" or something like that. and i get the latest versions of the confluence customizable mod pushed automatically.

Yep Download Hybrid Repo Install via zip option & this Mod is Confluence Customizable Mod and current version is 1.1.9

Okay, having issues with this one
so will change slightly & hard code some of the choices eg if prefix = UK: then United Kingdom, FSK = Germany, Australia: = Australia etc. Pretty straight forward.Now the interesting bit, my scraper returns "Rated 12A" & I don't want to re-scrape everything & I want the UK symbols to show. So the existing toggle for countries will have to stay & therefore I can set it to UK so that "Rated 12A" will become "UK:12A" for the mod to show the correct image.
That'll work for me & a few others
But I take it others will want it to work for them also. So I need what your scraper returns - look in the .nfo file and find the mpaa tagCode:
<mpaa>Rated 12A</mpaa>Then let me know (obviously) I have icons for UK, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong & Netherlands So will also need to find others if required
The other thing is who wants to force the local certification eg scraper returns default US MPAA but user wants local symbols. Then I'd need the comparisons between MPAA G, PG, PG-13,NC-17 & R and your countries certification.
As a end note - have given up with trying to create images, so will be using colour ones. Therefore the other codec icons will also have to change, probably the same as Hybrid as I have them already.

Hi Mudislander,
Regarding the info for film certification, I have uploaded some screenshots which may help...
As previously mentioned, I use Ember Media Manager to scrape my movies so unsure how other programs or XBMC's internal scraper shows the MPAA or certification info
Here's a screenshot of a random .nfo which shows the MPAA and Certification as UK: - so all entries have the prefix UK: before them...
One from EMM itself....
And lastly, showing the movie info screen in xbmc...

User Test version 1.1.10 Avail, download & install via the zip option.
Includes temporarily disabling the LastFM can ban check, need to see if working.
Also included initial work on Country certification of Media - UK should now work properly ?
Option to hide home Screen addon names + Disc type case toggle for LowList View & a couple of tweaks & bugfixes.
