Not sure what you are asking about, pics would help. The backgrounds are in the CommonBackground include in Includes_Backgrounds.xml

When browsing all my movies in Wall View, I prefer to have a plain background without the fanart background like this:



When I browse my Recent Movies, I want to use the Shift View or MyFlix View. With the fanart disabled, This is what I get in that view.



The way I was hoping to "resolve" this was to disable the use of fanart in the Wall View by editing the correct xml file and having that point directly to my plain background image (eliminating code that says to display the fanart). For TV Shows, I use the BannerWall View, and there I also want to display a plain background as well.

I have tried looking and editing code in various files, including IncludesBackgroundBuilding.xml and have not been able to isolate the section that renders the fanart background in these views.

Any pointers would be awesome. Thank you so very much.

PS. Is there a way I can set the widgets to update every time I enter the Home Screen? I believe the old Shednox had that option. It seems like quite often, my recent widgets do not update when new media has been added to the library.

Personally, being a grandfather suits me much better. If one of my children had been given a commendation in their first year of school for "attempting to listen" yet not be able to say who they were listening to or what they said, I would have been somewhat limited in the praise I can offer.
