Ah, I see. You could try to delete, rename or move the guisettings.xml file in your userdata directory (https://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata). Restart Kodi and it should load the default skin and settings.

Since last ver bump (7.9.6 -> 8.0.0) the skin has a conflict with script.embuary.helper.
...
From episode level, climb back using "back" button > Season level (embuary helper marks error) > TV Show level (embuary helper marks error).
Note: going down this does not happen.
...

This does not happen with other skins (ie Madnox and Amber).

If you need something else to look into this do not hesitate in letting me know.
If nobody else has this issue, please leave a note here to take down the report and not waste Mike's time.

I bet you're using the touch screen. Seems to be a problem this skin or Kodi has since 19 came along. That's the only reason I haven't fully switched to Matrix yet. I won't use any other skin as this one is the one that suits my needs best!

In the settings under Setup Main Menu there is the option in the Movies and TV Shows section to display random movie or tv show fanart as backgrounds.I have never managed to get this option to work.Is there a particular process i should be following ?

I did what you suggested. I disabled all except ICONS. However when I access a folder it resets to LIST view type. Which seems to be the default, but now I can choose icons faster bc the rest are disabled.

Only a single rating can be used, whereas you have two ratings in <mpaa>
