RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Tomkun - 2012-09-27 I think that you have always had to do TV shows individually. Probably whoever wrote Ember in the first place never got around to implementing it fully and others who have picked up the reins have had other more important bugs and issues to worry about fixing. I'm sure if you're patient it will be implemented eventually. RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - PaulCarter - 2012-09-27 A few weeks, for no apparent reason, new episodes and tvshows started appearing in the list in a red bold font. Does anyone know what this means? The functionality doesn't appear to be affected but I am curious! thanks Paul RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - TeKo - 2012-09-27 (2012-09-27, 09:59)PaulCarter Wrote: A few weeks, for no apparent reason, new episodes and tvshows started appearing in the list in a red bold font. RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - kavouras - 2012-09-27 Can you please tell me if this is possible in ember?I tried to find a solution but i couldnt... 1.Display rating not with stars, but with numbers(or together stars and numbers). 2.Raise the size of the poster. I know it raises if you double-click on it, but i want it bigger all the time for every movie... Thank you so much! When you say "anidb" are you referring to one of these sites? http://www.listal.com/lists http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=main RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Randall Lind - 2012-09-27 (2012-09-27, 09:03)Tomkun Wrote: I think that you have always had to do TV shows individually. I believe his site was force to shutdown and he disappeared. No idea what happen but, a small group of people which came and left kept it alive patching it here and there. Bodrick is the latest to take it over. Since he took over I must say it doesn't crash any more. Thank God this is the best program I found. I tried them all. Thanks for everyone who kept it going. RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - ajamils - 2012-09-28 Started using the app today and even though I love the layout and functionality, I don't know how you guys use it with huge collections. I only tested it on a small folder with about 20 movies and I have had nothing but issues. As long is I manually scrape each movie, everything works great but when I try to do a batch, it only does one or two movies and then just crashes. Also, what does the XBMC connection under modules do? Is this functionality working? I have made the connection to my XBMC instance but it does not seem to be doing anything. RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Randall Lind - 2012-09-28 I have 1400 movies and 172 TV shows no problems RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - ajamils - 2012-09-28 (2012-09-28, 01:49)Randall Lind Wrote: I have 1400 movies and 172 TV shows no problems Do you do anything special? Also, is it possible to scan movies that dont have a folder, but they are standalone files? Thanks a lot... RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - mwkurt - 2012-09-28 Can anyone please tell me what I can do to fix my problem with EMM? I posted above that the splash screen never goes away and says "creating gui". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Halibutt - 2012-09-28 I have a problem with scraping a Polish show named "Paradoks". It doesn't get scraped automagically, when I re-scrape it nothing gets found. Also, marking manual TVDB entry and entering its' code (262470) doesn't work. Any ideas? Cheers RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - DanCooper - 2012-09-28 (2012-09-27, 19:52)Randall Lind Wrote:(2012-09-27, 09:03)Tomkun Wrote: I think that you have always had to do TV shows individually. I'm sure if you're patient it will be implemented eventually. When a series is scrapped for the first time loads Ember ALL information are recorded on tvdb. Even the episodes that are not available locally. In a DB update the new episodes are automatically detected and labeled. It is not necessary to scrape the series each time. RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Dragen - 2012-09-28 So my previous problems with scraping has escalated. Now several shows is not getting info for episodes. Basicly, this is a game killing bug. It breaks the whole point of the program. Recap for the unaware: When scraping new episodes, episode details is not downloaded. Not even the titles. Some shows are not affected. I can't find a debug option, so I can't check on it myself. RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - CaptainKen - 2012-09-29 I have a few questions if someone would attempt to answer. 1) Why does a scrape prompt me twice for things like poster and fanart after I've made my selection(s)? 2) How do I foreign movie covers from showing up in the scrape results? Many times the text on the thumbs shown in the window is too small to determine the language until after I have accepted the results. 3) Why are the Writer and Producer metadata missing? 4) What is the "Sort Title" field for? 5) Is it possible to save multiple posters as fanart? 6) Is there an option to set Extrathumbs "Transfer Now" as a default rather being forced to press the button each time? |
