Send Links to XBMC Option Like Chromecast - riskr - 2013-07-27
I have a laptop running XBMC and connected to a TV. Is there a way while web browsing video sites, on another laptop on the same lan, I can send TED and Youtube video links to the XBMC laptop so they play on it?
This is essentially what Chromecast does.

It doesnt seem to support TED, but a lot of other sites.
This is essentially what Chromecast does.

Not a general solution for your requirement, but for TED Talks specifically, there is an XBMC add-on for it.
