i have tested the the updated add-on here https://thuongtin.com/kodi/subtitle/
but now luck to retrieve any result it takes long time to come up with no result found
i have test it over a multiple files also which i already got a subtitle for it before from subscene just to confirm
i also removed the official add on and re-install the updates on in the link same result no Sub found.

Had the same issue , downloaded the latest version from thuongtin (1.7.2.7) and is working fine on a nvidia shield with Kodi 18.2
