I try something tonight. But first my fiancée and will enjoy our anniversaryCongratulations :-) RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - CrisA - 2015-06-29 (2015-06-28, 17:07)bromix Wrote:(2015-06-28, 04:43)CrisA Wrote: I'm getting a script error whenever I try to open Youtube. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, it did nothing. I also tried manually deleting the plugin folder after uninstalling and then re-installing, which also did not fix the problem. That worked perfectly, thank you! And hah, I probably should anyway, I basically never use most of them. RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - gshodg - 2015-06-29 The YouTube add-on (I'm using version 5.1.5 by bromix, on Kodi14.2/OpenElec 5.0.8) has stopped working as it used to on my system. I'm signed-in to my YouTube account (or was, and still should be) Searching for, and playing, videos on YouTube works OK. Clicking "Popular right now" or Subscriptions" now gives the following error: Quote:Exception in ContentProvider I've tried signing-out, but that gives an error message in the top-left of Kodi Quote:YouTube I've tried uninstalling the add-on but it won't let me, saying that it is used by some other add-ons and "This add-on cannot be uninstalled". The same when I try to disable it. Any idea what I did that screwed up the use of the YouTube addon? I use it a lot, and am missing being able to see my search history and my subscriptions. Yes auto-updates was turned ON and it didn't update, BUT having read the wiki I see I didn't have your repository installed. I just installed your respository and it successfully auto-updated to 5.1.7~beta1 :-) (not sure I want to be on a beta, but that's what it auto-updated to). However all the errors I reported above are still present :-( RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - bromix - 2015-06-29 (2015-06-29, 14:31)gshodg Wrote:(2015-06-29, 12:41)bromix Wrote:(2015-06-29, 12:38)gshodg Wrote: Thanks, I'd checked to update the add-on before posting - I clicked "check for updates" and nothing happened. Can you send me a debug log (wiki) via pastebin.com or similar. Please connect your G+ account with YouTube (if not done already), also you should try to fix some of the other errors....something with Tvheadend isn't working and throwing a lot of errors. Also you should uninstall the banned add-ons (wiki) because I don't know the side effect these addons can cause, but I don't care next time, because it's illegal. RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - Dejavou42 - 2015-06-29 Bromix, I'm having issues with the playlists. When I try to open the playlists, I get a popup error - "Youtube Channel not found." Looking through the log, the following appears to be the associated debug messages: Code: 09:57:22 T:2611592000 DEBUG: [plugin.video.youtube] Starting Kodion framework by bromix... I am noticing this issue on multiple devices. Thanks in advanced for the help, and for the work on this plugin! It's possible you have an old user token. Also try to delete the user_data addon folder for YouTube, so no old data could be the cause of this problem. One of the devices that I'm noticing the issue on was just set up about 4 days ago. I'll try those 2 things and let you know what happens. My YouTube account was already linked to my gmail account. Thanks for the info about Tvheadend - I'll follow that up later. The other add-ons have been uninstalled, and the problem stlll persists. Would you mind taking a look at a new log? https://db.tt/hLaOmKfZ Thanks |
