My opinion or suggestions:

1) First and foremost: you know what you are watching, so there is a lot of information that you shouldn't have to be informed about Wink
2) Size: please don't make it so big as the one on the picture from BigNoid, it shouldn't cover 80% of the screen (or make it a config option).
3) Don't show "You are watching".
4) Only show: title (at top-left).
5) Bottom Bar: current movie time/total time + progress bar. Then to the right: time left, end time, current time (24hr format please).
5) Unnecessary: plot, rated info, logos, imdb rating, media flags (or make them optional, to be honest, this should only be available when pressing the "info" button).

The bottom bar could look like this (please only look at the bottom bar, ignore everything else, this is from MQ6):

BTW, I'm extremely happy with your skin, I'm running it on a PI3 and it's awesome, it plays smoothly, I've recommended it to all my friends.
Thanks but this response seems a little weird to me... You do not like anything I have shown but it would look perfect only if I just added the seekbar from MQ6?? Very confused here... Also me copying MQ6 will never happen cause if you wanted that look you can always just use that skin instead Wink
(2016-08-10, 16:07)Trixster Wrote: Try uninstalling extendedscript.info and deleting the script.module.kodi65 (if it exists) and any remaining script.extendedinfo or script.extendedinfo-master or similar folders you may have in .kodi/addons

Reboot and you should get a popup asking you to install both extendedinfo and script.module.kodi65. Do so, reboot and extendedinfo 'should' be working again.
That is not going to work cause they are using a different "modded for piracy version" of Extended Info script. Also those instructions only work for those on Krypton cause last I checked (could be wrong) Jarvis version doesn't have the split off module.

Yep, Thanks! That is why I made the FAQ. At least one person reads it Smile
(2016-08-10, 21:40)zorensen Wrote: This looks AWESOME! Great work, dude! Smile
Can't wait until OpenELEC updates to Krypton, so I can get it myself Tongue

Love it!
The look is due to BigNoid so I cannot take credit for that, he is a master skinner (I bow my head in respect) Nod
(2016-08-10, 22:07)hoppel118 Wrote: Thanks, that did the trick. also tried that before, but with "script.skinshortcuts v 1.0.10" installed I got a black screen and nothing happend. At this point I gave up...

@mikeSiLVO: You made it. Everthing looks really perfect! Big Grin

Thank you very much

Greetings Hoppel
SkinShortcuts script does not need v1.0.10 if using Jarvis. Might work but best to stick with repo versions of scripts if not using the latest Kodi.

What looks perfect? Thanks for the compliment just not sure what looks so good Smile.
(2016-08-10, 22:54)huizingajm Wrote: I would update to LibreELEC. OpenELEC has not been updated since May 1st. That was a Beta for Jarvis. LibreELEC is Alpha testing Krypton
This is excellent advice Wink
(2016-08-10, 23:26)hoppel118 Wrote: Hi again @mikeSiLVO

first off all: WOW -> At least there are a lot of nice fancy features for me compared to the version I had before.

A last optimization question: Is it possible to harmonize your record sign in all pvr views?

In the following views it looks nice:
 • ActivateWindow(PVROSDChannels)
 • ActivateWindow(TVGuide)

But here I see the record sign from the original aeon nox 5:
 • ActivateWindow(TVChannels)
 • ActivateWindow(PVROSDGuide)

For the moment I am quite happy with this absolutely sexy skin! Wink

Greetings Hoppel
Thanks but all of this should be already fixed in Krypton version due to Solo0815. Because of the drastic changes for Kodi v17 Krypton it is harder to keep backward compatibility. That is why new features and drastic changes are for Krypton only. It might be hard to explain but the fact this is not a job but instead considered by me to be a fun hobby means sometimes I need to only backport major fixes and keep things like look and new features limited to the latest version only. I hope that makes sense...

There will always be new stuff every Kodi update cause they regularly give skinners new toys to play with Wink
(2016-08-11, 01:41)jaexdesigns Wrote: Can some one show me how to center align the system time/date above the home menu? It's stuck here..

Code looks like this:

<control type="label" id="9025">
<width>990</width>
<height>41</height>
<label>$INFO[System.Date,, | ]$INFO[System.Time]</label>
<font>font13_title</font>
<textcolor>$VAR[ThemeHomeLabelColor]</textcolor>
<shadowcolor>shadow</shadowcolor>
</control>
I am really not sure how to answer you cause a google search of your username leads me to believe you are or will sell this and make money off of using this skin while also promoting piracy and I have no interest in that whatsoever so... Sad

The licence included with this skin means you cannot use it in a commercial product without getting prior approval from BigNoid and myself...At least that is how I think it works but I am not a lawyer... Is there a lawyer in the house?!?

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - b0mb - 2016-08-11

Does any1 know an alternative set of icons to use with this gr8 mod?

I'm a little bit bored of the standard set. ;-)

I'm very sorry Mike, I completely misunderstood your post Sad I thought those screenshots were from BigNoid's skin, thus it explains why the answers look weird, I totally agree with that, so I apologise if I came across as criticising your work, that was not my intention.
(The MQ6 screenshot was just something I thought could illustrate my suggestions.)

I love your skin, and I really appreciate all you do for us Smile

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - sxmdim - 2016-08-11

Good morning , i just installed the latest krypton nightly and copied the SILVO zip (master branche) to addons on a MAC computer . When i go to interface settings/skin i don't see the SILVO skin , only 2 options there Estouchy and Estuary . Am i missing something?

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Solo0815 - 2016-08-11

Does anyone know, how to bring up the "TV Guide Channel", "TV Guide Now" and the "TV Guide Next"?
They are all in MyPVRGuide.xml

hmm.. You might be right. Is it easy to make the switch to LibreELEC? Or is it like a format? Tongue

EDIT: Already on LibreELEC instead Big Grin That was almost TOO easy! Tongue huizingajm, should I go for the Alpa release to get Krypton?

For example I like:
 • the new possibility to change the genre colors in epg view
 • the new tv channels view "ActivateWindow(PVROSDChannels)" instead of the aeon nox standard
 • the new recordings view
 • the new recording sign

At the moment I have no krypton in use. But it's ok to get only the relevant issue fixes and changes in the current stable version (jarvis) and a lot of new features with the next stable version (krypton). That is how it works! Some little gifts from the developers from time to time are always welcome. Wink

Nice to know that all you guys are working on this wonderful piece of software. Wink

They are all in MyPVRGuide.xml
 • "TV Guide Channel" -> isn't it "ActivateWindow(TVGuide)" or "ActivateWindow(PVROSDChannels)"
 • "TV Guide Now" and the "TV Guide Next" -> never heard of them

If I look to the kodi keymap I only see the four windows from above:

ActivateWindow(PVROSDChannels)
ActivateWindow(TVGuide)
ActivateWindow(TVChannels)
ActivateWindow(PVROSDGuide)

But what about the new recording sign for the radio channels?

ActivateWindow(RadioChannels)
ActivateWindow(RadioGuide)

When EPG timeline is open press back to open sidemenu then change view Wink

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Solo0815 - 2016-08-12

Ah, ok ... missed that
Thx

btw: I like the new ChannelGuide! Can you please add the Date of the ListItem under channelname? this is useful, when you scroll down many entries. Actually you don't know the day the entry is broadcasted.
Without looking @ your code it is $INFO[Container(XY).ListItemPosition(YZ).StartDate]

And please move Dialog.Close(VideoOSD) one line upwards, so that OSD is closed before opening Channelguide.
Thx

Please have a look at the PRs, especially the one with the new buttons. Please comment which ones aren't needed anymore Wink

Yes, I also have this issue on my windows maschines where I use keyboard/mouse and not a remote like on my main libreelec machine.

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Malkthalk - 2016-08-12

I can't see any option to add subtitles or change skin etc (not that I want to change the skin, loving it so far).

RE: Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO - Solo0815 - 2016-08-12

I thought about "TV Guide Channel", "TV Guide Now" and the "TV Guide Next"
Actually there is now way to switch between them easily. How about adding a button to each view to switch between them?

Another solution for the view (except Timeline" is to switch them with left/right

 • change skin under "system - appearence - skin"
 • add subtitles under "system - video - subtitles"

If you are in the tv channels view "ActivateWindow(PVROSDChannels)" you can change channel groups with left/right. Maybe you don't have channel groups... I appreciate changing the channel groups with left/right. A button can be the solution. How do you plan to make that button reachable per remote? up/down is reserved for changing the channel, left/right is reserved for changing the channel group.
