No more issues with Netflix and I was able to use HBO Go for the first time on a LAN connection. Flash 2.0.1, then 2.0.3, then this CFW based on 2.0.4 Minor fix/update/change: update_Q5Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.4[RC1-20170629])_HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-07.110752 update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.4[RC1-20170629])_HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159 Posted Image Fix: - Network location support - Netflix visibility on Google Play (maybe not visible for you) Spoiler - Workaround for Netflix 5.2.x to get running Add: - Google Maps 9.56.1 Update: - Facebook 132.0.0.20.85 - Plex 6.2.0.986 - Netflix 5.2.1 build 19115 - YouTube 12.25.54 (adaptive 1080p) Downgrade: - Launcher 3D 1.2.5_HMD_0411_Release - Media Center 2.2.12_HMD_0425_Release - HiMediaVideoPlayer 1.0.11_HMD_0411_Release (if need New HiMediaVideoPlayer read here http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=812.msg18002#msg18002) BIG thanks to @tmihai20 for Netflix support solution. Note: If already use CFW v2.0.4 then can apply from Settings/Upgrade/Local Upgrade/USB_x Installation Instructions: 1. Request Q10/Q5Pro running Android 7.0 v2.0.3/2.0.4 2. Rename update_Q(...)Pro_(...)_HMD-2.0.4(...).zip to update.zip. 3. Copy update.zip to the root of a USB pen drive. 4. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of the Q10/Q5Pro. 5. With the Q10/Q5Pro turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole restore button on the back side of the Q10/Q5Pro. 6. While keeping the restore button pressed, turn on the Q10/Q5Pro. 7. The Q10/Q5Pro will show an Android droid logo and proceed to upgrade the firmware. 8. The box will auto-reboot when finished. 9. First boot take 6-7 minutes. Entire update process ca take up to 15 minutes, just wait... Normal boot time is 17-19 seconds. Download Q10/Q5Pro: mediafire https://www.mediafire.com/?o4h15793c0a0e. RE: HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro (2016) with Kodi (4K / HDR / 3D / HD Audio) - mrS4T4n - 2017-07-26 i'm really dissapointed with my Zidoo x9s, i need to use it with kodi, but the ZDMC 17.1 doesn't work properly (no raw audio to avr, frame drops with 4k...) I also had a Nvidia Shield TV, but i'm looking for a device that could play 3d ISO MVC files through kodi. Really interested in this himedia q5, but i also need to know how it performs with kodi and 3d Iso files... The playback was the same PQ as watching from 3D Blu-ray player (I watched the whole movie through to make sure). For me at 99% of the movie are not noticeable. RE: HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro (2016) with Kodi (4K / HDR / 3D / HD Audio) - Harpreetz - 2017-08-01 has anyone updated their Q10pro from Android: 5.1.1 to android 7. Can you please share your feedback and advise if it is worth updating the same RE: HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro (2016) with Kodi (4K / HDR / 3D / HD Audio) - Phil181 - 2017-08-02 (2017-08-01, 21:42)Harpreetz Wrote: has anyone updated their Q10pro from Android: 5.1.1 to android 7. Can you please share your feedback and advise if it is worth updating the sameYes, 2.0.4 is the best firmware so far IMHO. It works nicely with Kodi 17.3 (after disabling "joystick control" so the remoter works like it used to). My use is restricted to local NAS and HDD content (no streaming and no need for "shitty" builds of Kodi). Using the wrapper, Kodi passes seamlessly to the built-in media player (which has had improvements with the latest firmware) so 7.1 audio passthrough, 3D and auto-switching (depending on source) work fine. If you have not already upgrade, it is worth doing so now. There are also instructions on Futeko's forum to downgrade if it does not suit your needs. RE: HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro (2016) with Kodi (4K / HDR / 3D / HD Audio) - tmihai20 - 2017-08-02 I also updated from 2.0.1 CFW. I was a little reluctant because I discovered that Netflix was not working anymore, nor did HBO Go, but pcristi saved us again and fixed everything that was wrong and made it perfect as much as he could. I would say CFW 2.0.4 is quite perfect now. RE: HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro (2016) with Kodi (4K / HDR / 3D / HD Audio) - nvl611 - 2017-08-05 kodi's videoplayer (kodi17) no sound audio settings DTS and Dolby as passthrough. Q5 pro( f/w 2.0.4 ) with kodi 17 v3 when playback DTS or Dolby track : - passthrough not work - there is no sound, - a/v receiver report 2.0 PCM (not 5.1).
