You will find some here http://www.cnx-software.com/tag/apollo-lake/ If you are looking for Intel than search for NUC6CAYS & NUC6CAYH , there are some store listings with this one promising delivery from stock https://www.amazon.com/Intel-BOXNUC6CAYSAJR-NUC-Kit-NUC6CAYS/dp/B01MXYZ8V5/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484057747&sr=8-1&keywords=NUC6CAYS RE: Intel Apollo Lake - MasterYous - 2017-01-10 (2017-01-10, 14:55)Sniffer77 Wrote: Hi all. Are the NUC versions of apollo lake available yet ? If not isctgerr a release date? They are late, but I have seen at least one retailer say January 16. I am also eagerly awaiting this. There was a post earlier on this thread saying someone had tested one of @piotrasd's builds on the Apollo Lake NUC, so maybe he had early access? RE: Intel Apollo Lake - MasterYous - 2017-01-10 This was the post I was referring to: (2016-12-19, 23:42)trsqr Wrote: Confirmed 10-bit HEVC works fine on a NUC6CAYH with the LE build from Piotrasd (devel-20161217173209-r24948-gb7cc543). Same HD audio bitstreaming issues are present. Nice find on the NUC6CAYS on Amazon @Dr. Feelgood; wonder how real that is. I'm waiting for NUC6CAYH RE: Intel Apollo Lake - Sniffer77 - 2017-01-10 Thank s for the replies. Wonder what uk prices will be . I will purely be running libreelec on mine . Probably look at the h version so I can have add and HDD RE: Intel Apollo Lake - chrisk2305 - 2017-01-10 any way I can contribute to the HD audio issue? Seems there is not much going on in the bug report. I am not a programmer but i can provide logs, etc. if needed. RE: Intel Apollo Lake - fritsch - 2017-01-10 Nope. RE: Intel Apollo Lake - chrisk2305 - 2017-01-10 k, so @fritsch do you know if there is something going on behind the scenes? RE: Intel Apollo Lake - Milhouse - 2017-01-10 (2017-01-10, 16:14)kekomat Wrote: Sorry, I put two different thoughts from opposing points of view in the same line: LE doesn't store any hardware specific settings by default that would prevent booting, so backing up your existing client and then importing this backup into a fresh LE installation will work, as would moving the HDD directly from your old machine into the Apollo Lake machine (assuming there are no BIOS/UEFI issues). So A and B should work. I would probably favour A, as this will give you a fresh installation (increased FAT partition, UEFI support). RE: Intel Apollo Lake - jaysn8 - 2017-01-11 Hey guys, I am following your thread since a few weeks now and I'm getting close to ordering an ASRock J3455-ITX to build a budget Kodi Player. The machine is also supposed to manage some other tasks but 4k@60Hz HEVC playback and 10bit content is the most important part. The other day somebody said that especially the onboard graphics benefits from dual channel. Do I need two 4GB RAM modules to be able to use dual channel or will a single 4 GB RAM module be enough for a smooth playback? RE: Intel Apollo Lake - Dr.Feelgood - 2017-01-11 (2017-01-11, 12:08)jaysn8 Wrote: Hey guys, According to this http://www.technikaffe.de/anleitung-396-asrock_j3455_itx_mit_kleinem_apollo_lake_vierkern_prozessor_im_test the dual DDR "improves graphic performance significantly". Not sure if 4K will suffer from single channel but for what is worth the single 4GB DDR is around ~20EUR ... RE: Intel Apollo Lake - piotrasd - 2017-01-11 Hi Guys, latest build here https://www.sendspace.com/file/s5a5ua changes: all patches for HEVC10 updated (kodi, mesa, kernel) bumped to latest kodi, mesa, x86-video-intel, libva-vaapi, linux-drm-nighlty based on latest LE 8 RE: Intel Apollo Lake - raidflex - 2017-01-11 (2017-01-11, 18:39)piotrasd Wrote: Hi Thanks will try when I get home from work.
