I have just setup Kodi 18 alpha 1, and I am curious about the performance of the HDHR PVR addon from the kodi repository vs the performance of serverWMC. I like the audio, and video qualities of the HDHR addin, but I'm not too happy with the stability because some channels only play audio. I realize Kodi 18 is in its infancy but I would like to know what kind of performance others are getting from ServerWMC. I am looking for a PVR addin that supports dolby digital plus so I would also like to know if ServerWMC supports that. Thank you.

The PVR addons do not support Audio Passthrough.
So if Dolby Digital Plus is in the PVR-Stream, Kodi itself decodes and sends it via Multichannel output to the receiver.

I found a separate forum post and got done plus working on this. TV is more stable as well and plays every channel as far as I can tell
