I had to format my cinema PC and I installed from the first page link, but I never liked that link and I would go to the github page instead and install from there.

I downloaded it a couple of days ago to do a fresh install, and it would not install from the github hence me thinking that someone is doing updates for it, and messing the skin up. Also on the github page there are a few pull down requests, I am not sure what happens on github or not properly but if my understanding is right, you have the Master, people download and work on it and then update to the Master?

I could be wrong about someone updating it and messing it up, but not being able to install, made me come to that conclusion.

Overwrote IncludesHomeBingie.xml with an old version I modded and it now works perfectly.

RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 08/2019) - tvferret - 2020-02-19

OK, I spent last couple of days reverse engineering what Cartman did in the skin. Now, there are two ways to add widgets to hubs, one via the skin settings and one directly in the hub by unlocking it first. Adding the widget via the skin settings to any hub other than Home does not work correctly. If one adds a widget to lets say TV Shows hub, it'll be displayed in the Home hub, always. To add a widget to any other hub than Home, it MUST be done directly in the hub. But the widgets are displayed incorrectly, specifically the poster/art is wrong. This works in the main Home hub.

I do not know Cartman's intentions but I presume that the skin.shortcuts way is new/correct way. Therefore the same method should be used for non-Home hubs. Can be done, need to convert all hubs to use skin.shortcuts. But need to fix the skin.shortcuts templates to correctly pick and display widgets in the correct hubs.

Does this make sense?

There has been no activity on github since 10th of August last year. There are no open pull requests. Cartman worked on the 1.0.3 branch, merged it in to master. No single commit since then. I installed from the repo, no problems there. Repo seems to be build from the master after the merge with 1.0.3.

Only direct contributors can work directly in the repository (cartmandos and marduklev), all others must fork, and then submit pull request. It seems that NOBODY touched Cartman's repository since he left in August.

Hello, I'll install kodi18.5 and then Titan bingie
1. In Kodi -> Addons -> click "install from zip", choose either the downloaded repo file here
OR add the following address to kodi in 'file manager': https://cartmandos.github.io/repository.bingie/repository.bingie/
and get the zip file from there.
2. Choose in add-ons, Install from repository -> bingie repository -> Look and Feel -> Skin -> Install 'Titan BINGIE'.
But install 'Titan bingie' always prompts failed to install a dependency. Do you know where the problem is?

The problem has been solved, the solution can refer to the video tutorial on Fix all dependency Error Kodi 18 Leia for all Ad-dons and Repo on YouTube.

Going to have to check this out I'm running a modded Kodi 19 APK designed specifically for this skin and android and as of late I have about 8 dependencies that fail to update. Been considering switching back to kodi 18 but only a last resort.

Hi everyone !
I saw a couple of screenshots and video and I found this skin to be really amazing. I would like to use it for my side project (an iptv service), but I don't know if it has a proper IPTV/Live TV support.
Do you use it only for local movies and series ? or does it also work with IPTV/liveTv ?

Works with IPTV ... you'll need to install PVR Simple client addon and configure it with your account information.

Is there any way to resize the tiles in the landscape Bingie view, even at the expense of how many landscape tiles on the row at a time?  My Dad can't read some of the names with the Bingie landscape view on his TV.  It'd be better if we could resize those for better legibility.  Can it be done?

RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 08/2019) - the_other_guy - 2020-02-27

My Dad can't read some of the names with the Bingie all this could be fixed easy if skinners took this in to account
it is not that hard

RE: Titan BINGIE v1 (UPDATED 08/2019) - bornagainpenguin - 2020-02-28

Look I'm not looking to bag on the skin creator, he's done a bang up job and I've been very impressed so far--I'm just asking if anyone knows a quick fix to adjust Bingie Landscape mode to use four panels per row and still have the top information.  I went through it with my Dad earlier tonight and we ended up on plain Landscape mode for him, which is a bit too big with three large panels but no top bar.  It's clear to me that it's a work in progress and I have full faith that cartman.dos will get to it when he's able.

All I'm interested in is if anyone know a quick edit which can fix things temporarily until cartman.dos gets back.  Does anyone know how to do this?  I am on LibreELEC, most recent stable release if that matters.  Thanks in advance.
