I downloaded your skin and i've been comparing original code with your code and then i've tried out a few things.
So far i've just copied your change for the navigation. That combined with the change @vrds made to the includesfooter and my skin is looking pretty darn good right now.

just go to the IncludeBingie.XML.
Search for “spotlight image” an there change to these settings:
width=1500
height=750
....
scale =“H,scale”
of course you can play with the width and height that will fit you most, but these works good for me
basically, the 1500x750, will not have the same ration as the pictures... so if you just put "scale" on the scale type, the image can be cut, or deformed... but with the "H,Scale" it will force to keep the Height, and scale accordingly... sorry, I can't explain better than this...lol

Wait a second... did you find how to put the ratings in all the widgets?? I mean, in your Movies/Universes/Tv Shows, you see the ratings??

yes i did, but i do not use hubs at all anymore, it was not working at all for those.
Then i also don't use SHS widgets, i replaced them all by Movie Library\Playlists. Everything loads super fast and i have ratings everywhere

Understand , I checked my Shield first where in default it was set 1600x800 default so i copy that section and replaced . All done . Thanks

Little question, I have enable Clock for main menu and other windows but when I browse my movies (view 526 Bingie Main poster) or my TV Shows (view 523 Bingie Main Landscape), the clock is not displayed. Is it normal ?
I've tried to enable it by editing XML files but I didn't find the right file.
Clock is defined in IncludesHeader.xml and Header is included in MyVideoNav.xml but even after removing <visibe> conditions, the clock is never displayed

It probably is being overwritten for the Bingie Main Landscape view. Just like in the footer normally the Studio logo doesn't show up on those pages

So I'm having a strange problem. I have "flatten hierarchy" enabled, but every time I back out of my Movies library or my TV Shows library...I get the list of genres/titles/years etc. list and then another list before I reach the homescreen again. It's as if the "flatten hierarchy" setting is being ignored.

Check to see if this option helps.

Turn off Show parent folder items

Hey, I tried use the widgets instead of hubs, and it does the trick
just need to get use to the way of navigation though.
however, since I made this change, my Kodi it’s been crashing a lot... looks like it crashes when it’s doing some sort of scanning... does it happen with you as well?

I don't have the crashing problem at all. Have you had a look in the kodi.log file to see what's happening?
